These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Demand Scanner, operated by Aelion Group LLC ("Company", "we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Demand Scanner is a real-time market intelligence tool that aggregates and analyzes publicly available data from HackerNews and Reddit to surface trending keywords and demand signals for entrepreneurs and builders.

2. Free and Pro Accounts

Free users may access the scanner and view the top 10 keywords per scan cycle without creating an account.
Pro subscribers ($9/month) receive access to all 50 keywords, the full intelligence feed, CSV export, and weekly email digests.
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. No refunds are issued for partial months.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Scrape, copy, or redistribute our data or interface without written permission.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, circumvent, or disrupt the Service.
Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
Create multiple accounts to circumvent Free tier limitations.

4. Data Accuracy

Demand Scanner aggregates publicly available third-party data. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of the data for any particular purpose. The Service is provided for informational and research purposes only — it does not constitute financial, legal, or business advice.

5. Intellectual Property

All software, design, analysis logic, and branding of Demand Scanner are owned by Aelion Group LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal or business research purposes.

6. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY SPECIFIC RESULTS WILL BE ACHIEVED BY USING IT.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AELION GROUP LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction.
